I think the quotes around the word exploited says it all...
Agreed -- plus the fact that the adjective they've chosen to identify her with is 'billionaire' rather than 'award-winning', 'popular', 'best-selling', etc. Or just plain 'author'.
'Ooh, the nerve of her,' they're saying. 'How greedy!'
