It's my first overseas edition, my first translation AND my first hardcover. AND my first book with SPARKLES. It is as SPARKLY as the SPARKLIEST of vampires.
The best thing about being in another language, is running the blurb through Google Translator. Thus:
...becomes:
As Hannah Cheshire the marriage of their teacher's house rejects Thomas Behr, an idea they did not put them so that their fate for ever beseiglt. From one moment to the other wohlbehutetes transforms her life into a nightmare. And it is clear that their past on a single broad based Luge ...
Which pretty much sums up the book.
Scatterheart is published in Germany by Coppenrath.

Congrats Lili! I think the translation is superb lol.
I must have missed the luging scene. Although, were I forced to luge, I would definitely prefer a broad based one to the narrow based craziness that you see in the Olympics.
It looks very pretty - Glückwünsche!
Great news Lili! When I do a Google translation for something about the German version of The Running Man, 'silkworms' always comes out as 'silk crawler type vehicles'. Gotta love that!
Good job sweetheart!
Do you get a money?! :3
Fantastic, Lili. I hope it jumps off the shelves. German bookshops are so classy - it will look beautiful and at home there. Congratulations.

Ive often thought that my life seems to be on a single broad-based luge.
