I love the signs on that church. My favourite from the past was:

My guess of what they're getting at is criticism of the fanatical obsessions some people have with sports stars - when there's much better people to worship (ie. Jesus & God).
The first part I can agree with. The second, not so much.
One of those cryptic church messages. I wouldn't myself, but I would worship him if he gave me a slab of Coopers and a pack of Winny blues! I'm still waiting...
I don't worship Jesus or God, but by jiminy I'd rather worship either of them than a cricket pack. Probably just out of defiance to the 'glorious' sporting nation of ours...
